I believe it was Alfred Stieglitz that said, "If your work isn't good enough, then you weren't close enough". I love to photograph things up close, ofter reducing them to simple lines, shapes and colors.

The Calla Lilly is a favorite of mine. I grew this one in my back yard. The Calla Lilly is often reserved for special occassions, weddings and funerals. It's simplicity is its elegance. It is grown in several colors, but white is my favorite.
