When I photographed these fall leaves I was struck by the colors and the shapes. I live in South Florida where we don't see a change of seasons like is seen in northern states. When I travel north I am always taken by the nature that many people take for granted and don't seem to appreciate.

I decided with this image that I also wanted to manipulate it with my computer. I wanted to add the artist lines and qualities of a drawing to the underlying leaf image. Here is the result. It is almost abstract to the point that you don't know for sure that it's leaves. I see something different in each time I look at it.
