I believe it was Alfred Stieglitz that said, "If your work isn't good enough, then you weren't close enough". I love to photograph things up close, often reducing them to simple lines, shapes and colors. These individual flower buds are less than 1/2" wide. I love these little orchids. Each year they bloom and sprout new baby plants.
